About Us

Sacred Grove owners Ellen Whiteside and Tim Beebe were serendipitously brought together during their individual quests to learn more about energy medicine. They met at a Quantum Touch workshop in 2004 and have been on a united path to raise awareness and consciousness ever since.

Ellen has participated in numerous personal growth, energy healing and massage workshops around the world. She has done personal growth workshops with Shakti Gawain, and Alan Cohen. She did a series of workshops with Koyen & Associates, a personal transformation group out of Eugene, OR. and the STAR Foundation out of Geyserville, CA. Her highlight was a three-day workshop with the Dalai Lama on Tibetan Buddhism in 2000 in Portland, OR. Ellen is a licensed massage therapist with over 20 years experience.

Tim's spiritual awakening occurred after a lengthy health crisis that never responded to allopathic treatment. His well-being and outlook dramatically shifted after being treated energetically by a gifted naturopath who later became his mentor. Tim is also a licensed massage therapist, but his true calling lies in hands-on healing.

Wooza-Wooza, the Retreat dog, will make sure your stay here is an enjoyable one. She loves to hang out with guests and has a special way of making each person feel welcome. Living in "dog heaven", she likes to walk the trails with guests and is always willing to play or relax on the front porch of the Log Home.
